Dialog chatbot as an interactive online tool in enhancing ESP vocabulary learning

Purpose Based on an experimental study English for Specific Purposes (ESP) students, at the Business Department University of Bisha, purpose is to examine effect chatbot use learning ESP in online classrooms during COVID-19 and find out how Dialogflow chabot can be a useful interactive platform help learners vocabulary well. Design/methodology/approach The research paper based two groups, experiential group controlled group. Two tests were carried out. Pre-tests post-test knowledge conducted both groups explore usefulness using vocabulary. A designed content was prepared included all details related words' synonyms brief explanation words’ meanings. An informal interview another tool used study. with participants elicit more data from about what aspects conversational program productive. Findings findings explored that chatbots plays major role enhancing That clear as results showed students who outperformed their counterparts control Research limitations/implications displays important pedagogical implication could applied several settings improve language general or courses particular.
